Diamante Country Club is seeking an energetic, service-oriented Court Sports Director to lead and grow our tennis and pickleball programs. This individual will be responsible for delivering high-quality instruction, organizing leagues, tournaments, clinics, and social events, and creating an exceptional member experience for players of all ages and skill levels.
The ideal candidate is passionate about racquet sports, enjoys building relationships with members, and possesses strong leadership and organizational skills. This position offers the opportunity to oversee an active and growing court sports community at one of Arkansas's premier private clubs.
Responsibilities
- Work with the General Manager to develop and execute a comprehensive court sports program that meets or exceeds member expectations.
- Provide private and group instruction for tennis and pickleball players of all skill levels.
- Organize and oversee leagues, clinics, tournaments, round robins, mixers, and special events.
- Recruit, engage, and retain members through innovative programming and exceptional customer service.
- Coordinate court reservations, scheduling, and daily operations of the court sports facilities.
- Promote court sports activities through club communications and member outreach.
- Maintain court facilities, equipment, and supplies to ensure a safe and enjoyable playing environment.
- Enforce club policies and safety procedures.
- Assist with planning and execution of club-wide events when needed.
- Oversee seasonal pool operations, including opening and closing procedures, facility appearance, and supply management.
- Order and manage court sports and pool-related equipment and supplies within budget guidelines.
Skills and Qualifications
- Experience managing tennis, pickleball, or racquet sports programs.
- Teaching certification from a recognized organization such as the United States Professional Tennis Association, Professional Tennis Registry, or equivalent preferred.
- Strong knowledge of tennis and pickleball instruction, programming, and event management.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
- Ability to build relationships with members and foster a welcoming, inclusive environment.
- Experience supervising staff, volunteers, or program participants preferred.
- Basic knowledge of pool operations and safety procedures is beneficial.
- CPR, First Aid, and AED certifications preferred or ability to obtain.
